The nation’s future lies in the children’s hands and indirectly in the teachers ‘ hands. In our life, they play a significant role in making life and nation successful. They assist us to become a good person in the country’s community and a good citizen. Teachers provide students ‘ brain data and information for analysis. Therefore, we can claim that we only learn from our teachers to analyze and face the scenario, to find out the answer in the challenging scenario.

Why do we celebrate Teacher’s day?

In India, every year on September 5th, Teacher’s Day is marked as a tribute to the role played by the educators in society. The 5th of September is the birth anniversary of a brilliant mentor of India, a teacher by profession

Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a good edification advocate and a distinguished envoy, academic and president of India, above all a wonderful teacher.

When he became the president of our country, his students expressed the wish to celebrate his birthday each year. Responding to them, Dr. Radhakrishnan said, he would be rather glad if they celebrate 5th September as Teachers’ Day. Thus, his birthday is celebrated as Teachers’ Day every year

 

Importance of Teacher’s Day

Teacher’s Day is one of the events learners and educators are looking up at this juncture in a comparable manner, it is the professors who are commended. On this day, learners understand how significant a teacher’s function in the life of a student is.

 

Teachers should be respected at all times. Teachers need society’s assistance and encouragement to feel their fidelity to academics is cherished and cherished. In India, on the eve of Teachers Day, the Indian President presents the National Awards to the Teachers on September 5. The prize is provided to praiseworthy educators working in primary schools, middle schools and secondary schools as a government appreciation.

 

Even our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi says, “Teaching is not a profession, it is not a way of life.” Additionally, he added that teaching is not a profession but “JeevanDharm” (a way of life) and requested educators to comprehend changes taking place around the globe in order to prepare the new generation. In reality, guiding and enlightening is a divine responsibility. He also said India should regain the status of’ Vishwaguru‘ (educational leader) by paying great regard to educators whom he requested to encourage learners to think critically about nation-related problems. He said that Teachers will shape the nation’s destiny with determination and honesty as they lay the foundations and construction blocks of society.

Who are Teachers?

Teachers feed and prepare learners for life as they are the true icon of understanding, wisdom, awareness-building, and literacy. They are the lightning light source in our life. Our educators are behind our achievement. They help us enhance our understanding, skill level, trust as well as shaping us to choose the correct route and succeed. They do a lot for us, their priceless work is really appreciable. It is, therefore, our responsibility as a student to thank them at least once a year.

Teachers’ Day Celebration at Schools

With excellent excitement, students in schools across India celebrate Teachers ‘ Day. Students dress up and visit junior classes like their favorite educators on this day. They are assigned different classes where they go and teach on this day. This is great fun for both senior wings as well as junior wing students. During these meetings, the study as well as indulges in various operations. The senior learners guarantee that the discipline of the school is preserved and the juniors work with them in the same way.

Students give dance performances, perform plays, conduct fancy dress contests in many classrooms, deliver speeches, and indulge in many other activities while their teachers watch them perform. Collective activities for teachers and students are organized in some Schools/ colleges. It’s all more fun. They play distinct matches and work together in different games that strengthen the bond between them.
