SBI PO 2019 Exam Notification Out for 2000 Bank PO Jobs!!

The SBI PO 2019 exam notification is out for 2000 vacancies. It has been officially announced by SBI and those who wish to work in Public Sector banks can start applying online.

Application Fee & Intimation Charges

For General, EWC, OBC: Rs. 750/- (App. Fee including Intimation Charges)

For SC/ ST/ PWD: Rs. 125/- (Intimation Charges only)

Payment Mode (Online): Debit/ Credit Card & Internet Banking

Dates to Note for SBI PO 2019:

• Online registrations will start from April 02 to April 22, 2019
• SBI PO preliminary exam will be conducted on June 8th, 9th, 15th & 16th 2019
• Mains examination on July 20^th, 2019
• Final result to be declared by 2^nd week of October 2019

Eligibility Criteria for SBI PO 2019:

If you want to apply for SBI PO exam, here is the eligibility criteria:

– Age limit [As on 01.04.2019]: 21 – 30yrs (+3 yrs for OBC,+5 yrs for SC/ST)

– Aspirant should possess a degree from a recognized university [as on 31.08.2019].

Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.08.2019.

Number of Chances:

There is a restriction on the number of times a person can apply for the SBI PO exam. As per this rule:

• General – 4 chances
• OBC – 7
• SC/ ST – No restriction

The no. of attempts will be considered from the exam held on April 18, 2010. Appearing in Preliminary Examination will not be counted as a chance. In the years in which only one written examination has been held (i.e. no Preliminary Examination has been held), appearing in this examination will be counted as a chance.

SBI PO 2019 Exam Pattern

Currently, SBI PO Exam follows a three tiered process – Preliminary, Main Exam & Group Exercises and Personal Interview. Both Pre & Mains exams will be conducted in online mode.

– Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

There is no sectional cut-off for this year’s SBI PO Examination. Candidates numbering 10 times the numbers of vacancies (approx.) in each category will be short listed for Main Examination from the top of above merit list.

– Aspirants who qualify the preliminary test will only be allowed to give mains examination.

There will be one Descriptive paper in English language of 50 marks that needs to be answered in 30 minutes.It will contain questions such as letter writing & essay, that aspirant has to type on computer only.

• Mains examination will have 155 questions that needs to be answered in 3 hours.
• Each subject must be completed within the specified time limit.
• You have to score more than the cut-off marks (on total) to be selected for the interview round. Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the category wise vacancies will be shortlisted for the Group Exercise & Interview.
