The first step of the process is a couple of examination prelims and mains. Both the examinations conducted via online mode only. Candidates have to pass in both the examinations with desired grades. After the prelims and mains paper candidates are required to appear for Group Discussion. Once the candidate gets to the GD section he/she will have to attend the Personal Interview session. The final result will be out sometimes in September 2018.
These online tests will be conducted in two basic languages that are English and Hindi. No other regional languages are available. Candidates must be pro any of these two languages before appearing for the test. Prelims and Mains examination both have a set of multiple-choice questions that contains 1 or more marks for each. Also, there is a negative marking as well for the wrong answers. So be careful when you click on the options button.
SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2018
Age Criteria:
Applicants should not be aged more than 28 as of 01.01.2018. The minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 20 as of 01.01.2018. That means the applicant must not be born before 02.04.1990.

- Schedule Cast/Scheduled Tribe Category: 5 years
- Other Backward Class: 5 Years
- Person With Disability:
- SC/ST: 15 years
- OBC: 13 years
- General: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen, Short Service Commissioned Officer (SSSO), Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECO) and other commissioned officers, Those who have served military for at least 5 years and completed assignments or discharged for physical disability or any inefficiency: 5 Years
Education Qualification:
The candidates must be completed graduation before 1st of July 2018. Those who have completed 10+2+3 graduation can apply easily. On the other who have appeared for the examination and waiting for the result can also apply, however they have to make sure that the final result should be out before 1st July 2018.
Any graduate from any discipline is eligible for the post. The candidate must be graduated from a recognized university or institution.
SBI Clerk Application Form 2018
SBI Clerk Application form 2018 will be available from 20-01-2018 to 10-02-2018 on the official website of State Bank of India https://www.sbi.co.in/. In the website, you will find an ‘announcement’ segment where you can get the application form of the clerk examination.
SBI clerk online registration will start in the first week of April 2018. Candidates need to submit their SBI clerk application form in online mode only before the last date.
There are three steps that one needs to take to complete the form filling process. When landed on the application form page, read the form carefully and then fill it gradually step by step. Name, address, contact details, email ID, your last three examination and their marks, the languages you speak, city, district and many more basic details must be entered in the form.
Once you are done with the form filling click on the ‘save and next’ button and go to the next page where you have to upload your passport sized photograph and signature. The photograph should not be more than 50kb in size and the signature will not be more than 20kb in size.
Finally, once you are done with the uploading click on the button ‘submit’ and submit the form for registration. A registration number will be generated, save it for further reference. Take a print out of the application form for future use.

- For the General Category, the fee is Rs. 600/-
- For SC/ST/OBC, the fee is Rs. 100/-
SBI Clerk Syllabus 2018

The SBI Clerk syllabus for Prelims is:
- English: 30 marks for 30 questions
- Numerical analysis: 35 marks for 35 questions
- Reasoning: 35 marks in 35 questions
- Total time of examination: 1 hour
The SBI Clerk Syllabus for Mains Examination:
- English: 40 marks for 40 questions
- General knowledge: 50 marks for 50 questions
- Quantitative aptitude: 50 marks for 50 questions
- Reasoning and computer: 50 marks for 50 questions

The Prelim has total 100 marks and the mains exam has 200 marks in total. For each correct answer candidate will secure 1 mark while for each wrong answer he has to give away 0.25 marks. After securing the passing marks candidates can go further in recruitment process.
SBI Clerk Admit card 2018
The SBI clerk admit cards is issued and available 10 days prior to the examination. It will be available on the official website of the bank. Candidates are required to download the admit card and get a printed copy of the same.
To get the SBI clerk admit card 2018 candidates have to log in with their registration number and birth date as password and then can download the Admit card. The time and the venue of the examination are listed on the admit card only.
SBI Clerk Result 2018
The SBI Clerk Prelims result will be out in June 2018. Those who will be passed will only be eligible for the mains paper. The SBI clerk result will be published on the official website of SBI. Candidates have to log in with their registration number and password (birth date)to know the exam result.
There are a lot of people appear for the Prelims but few of them can manage to go further to mains. After mains exam lesser than few can move forward to GD and PI sessions.
