The features of sexual reproduction are as follows:
- It is a process that requires a male and a female.
- Gametes are formed and fertilized.

- Zygote
- Budding: Yeast is a single-celled creature. Buds are bulb-like extensions of yeast cells. The bud gradually splits from the parent cell and develops into a new yeast cell. This new yeast cell develops, matures, and multiplies to make additional yeast cells. A high number of yeast cells get generated in a short period of time.
- Zygote: Seeds in embryonic plants are encased in a protective coating. After being fertilized by pollen and growing within the mother plant, a matured ovule produces seeds. The embryo is created from the zygote, while the seed coat is formed from the ovule’s integuments.
