What is a place value?

Every digit in a number has a different value. Since it depends on the place or location of the digit, it is called place value.

What are the ones and tens places?

They all represent the value of the digit in a number. Ex – In 23, the value of 2 is 20 or 2 tens and for 3 is 3 or 3 ones.

How to find ones and tens place digits?

The rightmost digit in a number is said to have one place value. The second digit from the right in a number is said to have a ten-place value.
