Question 1. How did Santosh begin to climb mountains?
Answer: She wanted to climb mountains when she saw villagers from her room, going up the cliff and unexpectedly disappearing after a bit. One day, she decided to inspect it out herself. She found out no one except rare mountaineers. Later she conserved cash and enrolled in a program at Uttarkashi’s Nehru Institute of Mountaineering and then she began to climb mountains every year.

Question 2. What incidents during the Everest expedition show Santosh’s concern for her team-mates?
Answer: Santosh Yadav gave extraordinary supervision to a climber who lay dying at the south pole in 1992 Everest Mission. She saved Mohan Singh, who would have lost his life if she did not share her oxygen with him.

Question 3. What shows her concern for the environment?
Answer: Santosh was actually concerned about the environment. So, she collected and brought down 500 kilograms of garbage from the Himalayas.

Question 4. How does she describe her feelings at the summit of Everest?
Answer: She said that it took some time for the depravity of the time to sink in. She was pleased with this moment and proudly unfolded the Indiantricolorr.

Question 5. Santosh Yadav got into the record books both times she scaled Mt. Everest. What were the reasons for this?
Answer: She is the youthful and youngest woman who scales Everest. She is the only woman who climbs Everest doubly.
