SBI Clerk Online Classes : After a gap of 1 year, the much awaited SBI Clerk Recruitment notification is recently released by SBI recruiting for more than 8000 vacancies for the post of Junior Associates. A lot of changes in exam pattern have been made this year as compared to SBI recruitment for Clerk in 2016. Changes in SBI Clerk 2018 Exam Pattern as compared to 2016:

2016:
SBI Clerk Recruitment notification in 2016 was released for the following 2 posts:
- Junior Associates
- Junior Agriculture Associates.
2018:
This year, the notification is out for recruitment of only 1 post i.e Junior Associates in Customer Support & Sales.
Vacancies:
2016:
There were a total of 10, 726 vacancies announced by SBI in 2016 for Junior Associates in Customer Support & Sales.
2018:
This year there have notified for 7, 200 new vacancies for the SBI Clerk Recruitment. However, there are 1101 backlog vacancies also in addition to the new vacancies. So, the total no. of vacancies for SBI Clerical 2018 exam is 8,301.
Age Relaxation:
2016:
Age relaxation for Widows, Divorced women, and women judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried was 9 years (subject to the maximum age limit of 40 years -SC/ST, 38 years -OBC & candidates, 35 years – General)
2018:
Age relaxation for Widows, Divorced women, and women judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried this year is 7 years (subject to the maximum age limit of 40 years -SC/ST, 38 years -OBC & candidates, 35 years – General)

Exam Pattern:
2016:
There was no sectional time as far as Preliminary Exam is concerned; a composite time of 1 hour was given to the candidate to attempt the paper.
2018:
This year sectional timing of 20 minutes each is introduced for each section in preliminary exam. 20 Minutes is given to attempt each section.

Note : 1/4 of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Step 3 : Language Test (No Interview)
Note –
- There is no sectional cut-off in the Prelims as well as Mains exam this year.
- There will be no interview after the mains exam. Instead, a language test will be conducted for the local language of the state from which the student opts.
