IBPS Clerk 2020 Exam Notification Out

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released the notification for the much awaited IBPS Clerk 2020 Recruitment on their official website i.e. at www.ibps.in on 01st September 2020 and those who wish to apply for this post can start registering themselves online from 02nd September onwards. IBPS Clerk 2020 Exam Important Dates to Note:

Online registrations will start from September 2 to September 23, 2020
IBPS Clerk preliminary exam will be conducted on: 05.12.2020, 12.12.2020 and 13.12.2020
IBPS Clerk mains exam will be conducted on: 24.01.2021
Final result to be declared by April, 2021

IBPS Clerk 2020 Number of Vacancies

A total of 1555 vacancies is going to be filled in the year 2020-21 across 11 public sector banks. Following Table gives the complete break up of State-wise vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria For IBPS Clerk 2020 Exam: 

If you want to apply for the IBPS Clerk 2020 exam; please check all the below mentioned eligibility criteria details:
Age Limit (as on 01.09.2020): 20 – 28 years
i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1992 and not later than 01.09.2000 (both dates inclusive).
– (+3 yrs for OBC (Non Creamy layer), +5 yrs for SC/ST, +10 years for PWD Candidates)
– Candidate should have a degree from a recognized university.
– No specific percentage mentioned in graduation.
– Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT for which you have applied (should be able to read / write and speak that language).
Candidates are allowed to apply for vacancy from only one state.

Exam Pattern For IBPS Clerk 2020 Exam:

IBPS Clerk Exam follows a two stage process – Preliminary and Mains Exam.
– Prelims test will have 100 questions for which 1 hour time divided into 20 minutes each for 3 sections is allotted to the candidate.

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main examination.
The Mains Exam of IBPS Clerk consists of four sections: Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude, General English and General/ Financial Awareness.

• Mains examination would have 190 questions with a total duration of 160 minutes.
• Each section must be completed within the specified time limit mentioned.
• There is no interview round for the clerical posts in IBPS.
• MARKS OBTAINED IN THE ONLINE MAIN EXAMINATION ONLY WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING.

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.

Application Fees/ Intimation Charges:

The application fees / intimation charges shall be as follows

– Rs. 850 /- for all others
