How to Overcome Exam Fear – Free Tips

Exam fear is very common in many students, no matter the student is intelligent or not. Almost every student have experienced exam fear. The fear of exam results in tension, stress, and anxiety! In this article, you will find useful tips, which will help you beat exam fear and reduce the stress level!
Tips to Overcome Exam Fear :-
1. Start revising your syllabus early:
Students should schedule to start revising their portion early so that they can answer any question without any stress or exam pressure. As we all know “practice makes a man perfect” so for better understanding students are often advised to revise early. This will avoid being nervous at the last moment of the exam.
2. Create Your own timetable:
As a student, you will know the subjects or topic that you need to work more on. It’s not by the grade you are in its the length of study material or depth of the prepared contents that you need to know about. To prepare for an exam, you need to create your own timetable for all the 7 days of the week. The timetable should be realistic that you can change if required.
3. Add Mix of subjects in Timetable:
When you make a timetable its best to study one subject in the morning slot and other subjects in the evening slot. Studying the same subject whole day will make the student feel bored. Take a mix of at least two subjects.
4. Allocate time for breaks:
When you making a timetable, do add time for breaks in between. You might get up for Rest, your bath or using the washroom. All these can be considered a break. It includes your dinner, lunch, breakfast time as well. Adding some bit of sports can refresh you fully.
5. Take a Proper Sleep:
Best remedy of any stress or fear is taking proper sleep. Usually, students often study without taking proper rest. Without feeling fresh students can’t study well, it is advisable to take a proper sleep in exam time minimum of 6 to 8 hours in the night.
6. Using highlighters while making notes:
Students should underline in the books to make study note of important points. By using highlighters it will help the student to know which important points they have to revise later. Using keywords(reminder words) is also very useful to remember the importance of the topic that is being revised.
To Get Good Marks in any exam it is necessary to reduce your stress and give your exam with a cool mind. Moreover, as mandatory hygiene never check your answers after exams till all your exams are complete.
