Group D Recruitment Process

Eligibility:

Age should be between 18-33 years reckoned as on 01-07-2019.

10th pass or ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/ SCVT/ equivalent or NAC granted by NCVT.

The exam shall be the Computer Based Test (CBT) in either a single or multi-stage mode. Candidates qualifying in the CBT shall have to undergo the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). It will be followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.

CBT:-

Computer Based Test (CBT)

  • There is Negative Marking of 1/3rd marks.
  • Normalization of marks will be done.

PET:-

  • For Males: 1000 meters race in 4 minutes and 15 seconds.
  • For Females: 1000 meters race in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.

NTPC Recruitment Process:

Eligibility:-

Age should be between 18-30 years reckoned as on 01-01-2019.

12th pass or any Graduate from a recognized university or equivalent

The recruitment process will involve the following stages of examination:

• 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)

• 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)

• Typing Skill Test/Computer-Based Aptitude Test (as applicable)

• Document Verification/Medical Examination.

Typing Skill Test (TST)

Qualifying in nature

Eight times the number of vacancies will be called for typing test.

The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
