Ques: In which mode the exam is conducted – Online or Offline?
Answer: Both the phases of insurance exams – Prelims and Mains are conducted online.
Ques: What to do in case the confirmation mail for Registration and Password not received?
Answer: As per the Registration System, as soon as you enter the required information for Registration, an automated password is generated and sent to the registered mobile no and email id. In case you don’t receive it, you should wait for some time and still if you do not receive the mail; then you have to contact the Help Desk of concerned authority.
Ques: What are the different sections from which questions are asked in Pre and Mains Exam?
Answer: In Pre exam, there are 3 sections namely: English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude
While in Mains exam there is English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness (Static awareness, Banking awareness, and Current affairs), Insurance & Financial Market Awareness and Computer Knowledge
Ques: Is there any interview round after the mains result?
Answer: There is no interview conducted for the assistant posts but if you are applying for the AAO, AO post then after the mains result, you will have to give interview.
Ques: What is the minimum percentage required in graduation for insurance exams?
Answer: There is no minimum percentage required to apply for the insurance exams. You just need to be a graduate or equivalent from a recognized university. Few insurance exams demands a minimum 60% mark in the graduation for specific posts. One should go through the Official notification before applying for any post.
Ques: Is the syllabus for all the insurance exams different?
Answer: No, the syllabus for almost all the insurance exams is same. However, for some posts you will find one or two additional subjects different from the syllabus of other insurance exams.

Answer: Yes, there is a scope for growth in the insurance sector. The employees are eligible for promotions internally. Promotions are scheduled at regular intervals of time.

Answer: The best way to prepare for the General Awareness section is by reading the newspaper daily. Ques: Is the Insurance exam in Bilingual?
Answer: The Sections except for the English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
Ques: Is there a sectional cut-off in the exam?
Answer: Yes, there is a sectional cut-off in the exam. You have to clear every section in order to be shortlisted for the provisional allotment. In LIC exams, you will find English subject to be qualifying in nature.
Ques: Is there negative marking in the insurance exams?
Answer: Yes, there is negative marking in the insurance exams. A deduction of 0.25 marks assigned to that question is done for every wrongly marked answer. In LIC Assistant exam, there is no negative marking and English/Hindi Language test will be of qualifying nature and marks in Language section will not be counted for ranking.
